Just read this thread.
I hauled a wide load some years ago and the permits we issued only for the one day and for a specific. Route. I ignored much of their route,it took me thru top of NYC but never a problem. But at that time my permits (10') were supplied in 20 minutes by email. But and changes required another fee!
Clearly all the extra stuff you outfit had to go thru was a lot more complicated with escort and surveys!
Hope you are loving the nordic as much as It's looks say you should!
