New to the Trawler Forum

My name is Aaron. Even though I am a California native, I currently spend most of my time in England studying Yacht Design. While I am interested in quite a few different kinds of boats, I hope to design trawler style yachts once I finish University. Aside from drawing on my free time, I enjoy sailing tall ships and sometimes race smaller yachts.

I hope to learn what draws people to the trawler lifestyle!

Yes, welcome to the forum. Even though not an owner of this style of boat, your design interest should ensure you will have stuff to contribute, while taking on board features folk especially admire about the genre, which will stand you in good stead re design features.

Yes, good luck with your career. The world always needs highly qualified designers to keep up with the demand for new boats.
