Hello to all

Hi there, joined today. I myself am not a trawler owner but I happen to work on them. I have built around 100 boats for TOMCO Marine Group up until I became independent. I have done a number of jobs on several different trawlers from cabinetry to flooring to system installs. I have experience in many topics of restoration and repair plus a network of people in the industry from electricians to mechanics to gellcoat and detail specialists. Every once in a while I come across parts or items that I need to find homes for like the two Zwaardvis helm chairs I have for sale on this site. My greatest strength is that I know there’s still so much to learn and I’m always prospecting for input. I’m looking forward to reading and gaining knowledge and being of any assistance.......and some day having my own trawler .

Stewart, do you perhaps have experience in settling family squabbles? As you see, we have lots of them.

Oh man, white sandy beaches! Remind me in February when the sun is scarce around here and weekends are drizzled and cold.

Welcome aboard Stewart. Your experience will add greatly to our knowledge base.
Ignore Menzies and Rgano. They’re not really as dumb as they sound.

Stewart
Welcome aboard TF
It sounds like your experience will be a great fit here and maybe pick up some experience from others.
As usual, the challenge is to sort out the valuable ones.
Glad to have you aboard.
