Plans were to replace non-working wipers, after spending a little time I was able to get all three working. Since I like the vintage look I am now considering rebuilding them. I took one arm and blade home and it is identical to the wiper/blade on my 1965 Buick Gransport. Has anyone rebuilt/restored theirs and could give some advise about any pitfalls I am in for.

I, and many of us, do not know what is on your boat now. There were a few different offerings for motors and blades/arms.
Show a couple photos of what you have now.

Will do and will also keep that in mind on future posts. Presently the boat is 6 hours away from our home so we currently are making a couple visits a month to do some work. Will follow up with this on next trip.

Remember to twist the wires when you reinstall. Non twisted wires running to any type of motor can cause problems with your compass.
