brass pipework on flybridge 1973 48 Classic

We have dismantled the rotted flybridge console on our 73 GB 48 Classic and there is a brass pipework system - very well made - with 3 exit points above each window: is this a window-washer system (if so, it has been redunded on our boat but I would love to resurrect)?
 
Yes, if you hunt around on the bridge there will be a gate valve - the washer system uses the potable water system.

Every boat gets spray on board , the washers are to keep the salt from drying out and grinding the window with the wiper blades.

Restoration might be a great investment.
