Shot in the dark that someone has an idea where to source a seat back hinge that articulates so you can face either direction on the bench? Maybe something similar? I don't recall where I grabbed the attached picture.

I'm guessing this needs to be fabricated, but y'all have surprised me in the last

Thanks in advance -

Peter

Here is one source that provides some ideas.

We had a double seat similar to the one on the left page. It was fabricated from a fiberglass base and had the pivoting supports that went into the center of a double sided seat back. Wood guides on each side allowed movement but provided the "stop" at either end of the travel.
Are you looking to add to an existing base of need complete unit with seat base & seat articulating back?

Here's one all fabed up

Single or side by side for double?

Second one from. Springfield looks like it might work. I can't find any detailed info and it looks like it may be close to discontinued. Walmart shows them for $155 so I may give it a try

I reconfigured my flybridge to have a pair of long benches. Idea for the flip back seat is the forward end of the bench can either be forward facing for underway, or flip the seat back and stretch out.

Not a great picture attached, but you can get the idea.

Many thanks Bacchus. This was a lot of help. IMG_20191206_161444.jpeg
