Hi all, have been lurking several days. We are nearing making a purchase offer on a 1979 Prairie 29. Pretty good shape, in water. Has Perkins 4.108 with approx 3200 hours. Working generator and working windless. No bow thruster.
Would certainly enjoy PM or phone call from other prairie 29 owners with .108 engines. If we make offer, will do a mechanical/engine survey to confirm all before money exchange.
We are purchasing with intent to do the great loop next year.
