i guess you've never been there? a good friend of mine sprung for his daughter to be married there a couple of years back. it's an interesting place to be sure.

We spent 3 days at Roche Harbor a few years back. The ceremonial lowering of the flag at sunset was nothing short of amazing.

We bring the boat up there every year. Fantastic spot. It’s known as “Adult Summer Camp” for good reason.

We did the same. The only exception was the kids were not paying attention and hung the Washington State flag upside down. For most of the day.

We have anchored out from the customs dock. Took chairs out to the bow with cold beer and had fun watching the circus at the customs dock.
