So our fridge is less than friendly to veggies. Not like our home fridge. It's a Tundra separate top and bottom(not sure of model) We maintain high 30s and have added a small fan to move air around, yet it seems like we just can't seem to keep veggies for more than a couple days without wilting. Any suggestions on extending our storage time? Vacuum sealing maybe ??

Would be thankful for any advice.

Cheers!

Mike

We run a Waco (another good brand is Engels) separate fridge/freezer unit (12V). For longer voyages we set it up to freeze and fill it with meat products. This year, shorter trips, so it is set up as a fridge and we put veggies in it. Temperature is very adjustable, and the unit is very high quality.
Other possiblities are using a good quality cooler (with ice) like Yeti (or equivalent) or depending on water and air temps, maybe one of the bilges (the one outside the second cabin)????

We found some special plastic bags that worked pretty good at extending storage.
I forgot their name, they were green colored and I'm sure you can find them in a google or Amazon search.
