Coming in to Newport Rhode Island May10 and leaving May 21 starting leg 5,will be the first big trip for Broadbill this year

Oh man, now we have to make travel plans. We took delivery of our new-to-us boat just outside of Newport in May 2015 and we were there for the racers. Thrilling doesn't begin to describe it. Good luck getting a hotel room though. Boy was that a great time.

Pick up a mooring in Jamestown and take the water taxi over to Newport or watch from the rocks and avoid the crowds

Yep -- certainly would if we could. We lucked out and got a slip at West Wind Marina last time. But now the boat's trapped above a dam on the Missouri River 1,600 miles away so we'll be landlubbers for this one.

I will watch the in-port race from my boat,then watch the fleet leave,have no intention to go on land
