Greetings all...We think we have our Westbay 58 sold. We have our eyes on a 64 Ocean Alexander. We have made numerous trips from San Diego down the outside of Baja to San Jose del Cabo and some trips on over to Puerto Vallarta. The reason we are looking at the 64 OA is increased fuel capacity, a heavier boat and more room. The OA carries 500 more gallons than the Westbay and that would allow us to stop for a rest in Turtle Bay and not have to pay the outrageous price to get more fuel. The Westbay has been an excellent boat on these trips but the extra fuel would be a real bonus. I have been aboard a 64 during the last trip south while in a marina in Barra de Navidad and was impressed most with the engine room and machinery spaces. Any thoughts from anyone who has sea time on the 64? My wife and I run the boat by ourselves so the rest stops at TB and at Bahia Santa Maria are important. Thanks...Ross
