Newest trawler owner from Oceanside Ca. So far repaired steering shaft and coolant hose with water heater upgrade. The hose repair was made while under way, never made it out of habor for steering and had to return. Good thing I had other trawler owners there to assist. Thanks Dave! My vessel is 44' and loving every minute being aboard.

It was funny one day when we had someone brand new to boating join us. After a few minutes they saw with us in the pilothouse. Something caught their attention and they suddenly looked even more puzzled than normal. They asked "Who is steering this thing?" as we'd been on autopilot the entire time. Now my hubby described it as magic. We did then show them how it worked. She thought we needed some stinkin' steering and someone steering...
