New to Forum

Retirement getting closer and starting to think more seriously about a Great Loop endeavor.

Current boat is a Carver 450 Voyager in Long Beach, too far to make the trip to the starting line wherever that may be.

So continuing my education on trawlers, boats, systems, rigging. Will need to sell my boat and buy one closer to loop. So the research begins.

Welcome. You can start in Clear Lake, TX if you like since that is closest to you. Next best place is south Florida.

Yes Rich I had seen that. Been to Houston on business but never had a chance to see any sites. We’ll have to look at boats & brokers in that area
