Greeting from Ray on Shenanigans, Everett, WA
Greetings! I'm new to this forum (but I've lurked and watched for some time now). I am a retired Montanan, soon to be full time live aboard on my Puget Trawler Europa 40' moored in Everett. (I-33) south. I must confess to an attempt to join about a year ago. It was then life took some turns and a split up with my now ex wife took place. Some rearranging and planning has resulted in my soon to be "live aboard status" in Everett before embarking on an inside passage trip for the entire summer of '16. I have been to Everett several quick trips over the past year and checked up and maintained as time permitted. I've finally been using her and have been having the time of my life! I'm looking forward to meeting others and sharing the "stuff" that only comes from this great lifestyle. The boat was purchased as "Le Matou" and a promise was made to rename her after my my now ex-wife Tanya. She went from "Le Matou" to "Sweet T" after her namesake. Given the circumstances the name just didn't fit. I did however keep part of my promise to name it after her. Shenanigans was the result. It fits. I'm currenly reworking/outfitting/refitting and making Shenanigans my own. This coming week I'll be in Everett with a truck load of equipment and a new tender to mount. I hope to say some hellos and meet others in Everett and on this forum! Hope to see around. Ray Allestad
