Took this pic at Shearwater some years ago.
It's a home made Claw anchor.
Seems it's made from mild steel plate about 1/4".
You can clearly see there is no twist in the smaller outboard flukes. The twist would be hard to duplicate TBS. I talked to the owner and he says it works well. I would guess it should have considerably less holding power.
But w/o the twist any fab shop could dupe this for not much $.
Wouldn't recommend it though.
