Sorted out a very simple, low cost way to mount a Starlink antennae on top of our Pilothouse. This uses a simple Shakespeare mount along with the Starlink pole mount accessory.
1. Cut about 2” off the top of the Shakespeare mount.
2. Install the mount where you would like the Starlink antennae to live.
3. Slip the Starlink pole mount over it and tighten the set screws (use the long ones provided in the kit).
4. Slide the Starlink antenna over it until it clicks.
5. Route your cabling as needed.
6. Sit back relax and watch Netflix in the middle of nowhere!
Note: I used Butyl Tape for this installation as I wasn't 100% sure this will be the final location. I'll re-bed using a more aggresive adhesive if needed.
