That is from 2003. I watched that video years ago, but have never seen, nor heard of any of these amphibious RVs actually in use. One look at the lack of stability in the video of the kids jumping from the tail gate (swim step) or the roof would get you adding pontoons on both sides.
The interior is nice, for a 40 ft RV, but the loss of storage space below to the marine gear and to make the "hull" water tight would eliminate that RV for any serious travel. You would need a companion trailer or storage unit to replace the lost storage.
Like the amphibious cars of the 50s, this one is just a curiosity that someone has poured their excess $$ into for fun.
