Yep. IIRC I took my alternator off to get at it, but it's been a while.

Yes, the alternator has to be removed, and yes, check out sbmar.com. Tony has photos on how to do this. It is relatively easy to do.

For the prompt replys. Thermostat getting delivered tomorrow and we will see how it goes. Paid extra for the 160 degree vs the oem. Some say its wasting money but i figured a couple bucks for a little extra protection was worth it.
