I am about to replace the pantograph adapters (3 of them) on my Nordic Tug. The wipers work fine, but the pantograph adapter gaskets (that go between the adapter and the superstructure fiberglass) are deteriorating and after a few rains leave black streaks on the white fiberglass. My wipers (factory installed) are from Amequipment, and I've ordered the new adapters from that company.
Here's my question: does anyone know if the two screws/bolts that hold each adapter go through to the motor assembly (in which case I'll need access to the motors to line up the replacement screws/bolts) or do they just screw into the fiberglass and its backing material (which would mean I do not need to hire a contortionist to hold the motor assembly while I screw/bolt on the new adapters.
Thanks!
