Floating Containers

The Canadian Coast Guard reports that the 105 containers that fell from a cargo ship into the sea off the Washington coast and drifted north along the British Columbia coast are believed to have sunk. Four of the containers have washed ashore on northern Vancouver Island. Crews are attempting to clean up the beaches. Efforts are being made to determine the next steps of trying to locate the other missing containers. The Coast Guard asks the public to report any containers that float to the surface.

And how many of those shipments never received rest at the bottom or our oceans? The vast majority of containers are never recovered as they have no value to anyone. Just need to take recovery steps on those that float near the surface.
