We have an upcoming charter with Southwest Florida Yachts. Their insurance has a 2% deductible. For the boat that we're chartering, that's like $8,000. When we chartered with the Moorings last year, they had an option to purchase additional insurance. SWF Yachts does not offer that option. I seem to recall reading somewhere that you can purchase supplemental insurance, but I can't find anything doing Google searches. Is anyone aware of whether you can buy insurance somehow to cover the deductible?
