Anything going on in Florida this weekend..??

We are now over from the snowy UK and are in Florida boat shopping, seen some good ones and some not so good, lots more to see but we will have some free time this weekend.. We are staying in Placid Lakes FL so pretty central, are there any boat type things going on this weekend to entertain us...?? Today we are going to Cocoa Beach to view a boat... Cheers (Photo of my view at the moment, this is a very nice Lake house...)

If you’re going to be in Cocoa, you might enjoy touring the Kennedy Space Center. There is a launch scheduled for 1:30 PM on Tuesday. It’s the largest rocket to launch since the 1970’s. You should be able to see it just about anywhere in central Florida.

Welcome to Florida!

There is also the Astronaut Hall of Fame at the west end of the NASA Causeway at Addison Point.

In Cocoa village (not Cocoa Beach), there is the mother of all hardware stores, Travis, if you are into tools, etc. About everything you need to build your own skyscraper I think.

You are in a good central location for seeing Florida if you don't mind all that driving on the wrong side of the road.

Thanks, our location was deliberate so we were central, done over 1,500 miles since Tuesday so we are getting about...

Are you still going to be in Florida on the 15th? The Miami International Boat Show opens then.
