At age 90, Peter Warner, sailing adventurer and skipper of the famous Sydney-Hobart competitor "Astor', died crossing the bar at a northern NSW port in his sailboat.
Then emerges the story of how 50 years before he rescued 5 shipwrecked Tongan boys from a remote Pacific island he visited. A nice story: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-04-14/sailor-peter-warner-dies-in-accident-aged-90/100067818
Ian Rabbitts, referred to in the report as a Sydney marina owner (located at Cammeray), a friend of Warner, went by the nickname, "Bunny".
