After winterizing my water lines i became aware that my galley faucet cartridge was bad. I prefer to just get a new one. However the faucets in homedepot are all 3/8 braided lines. My pex lines ( female end ) are 5/8.
So if i order from Defender marine will they have the 5/8 lines ( male )
or should i just get (male) 3/8 to 5/8 to join the pex to the store bought?:banghead:

Pretty standard setup.

Buy a shut off valve as an adapter and you will have a more reliable system in the end.

Also just buy a home faucet of tyour liking and be done with it.

I would just get a home faucet, cheaper and probably a lifetime warranty. Get an adapter to connect it.

plumbing is not my thing. So a double brass ? male for both water supplies 3/8 to 5/8

fitting 3/8 to 5/8 ?

is this the easier rout or a shut off valve?

What it seems like you have was pretty typical inn the day. Without measuring that looks like a 1/2" straight thread.

Personally I would not rte-install without a shut off valve. That way if you ever have a problkem you do not loose your whole boats water system.

I just take the parts or photos into Ace Hardware and ask them what will do the job.
