posting URLs

It's a bit of a PITA to use the tags to make a URL active in a post. Can you just make the software auto-recognize a http://site.com.... well never mind! It just did that. OK, why did it NOT do that in my post in electronics? I had to go back and add the tags to make it work. Maybe because I pasted the URL in there???

Don't know why, maybe it was the paste?* In testing, we noticed that a Mac wouldn't upload images.* We're still looking at it, but I'm thinking it may be a Java thing???* Oh well, who cares, it's a Mac!

it seems to be safari software, as my mac has no trouble loading pics using firefox
