Mainship Pilot 30 II
Anyone have water problem in the cabin and any ideas where it was coming from?

A common leak path on Maibships and many others is via the rubrail / hull to deck joint.
Look at my Bacchus website... Projects section.
There is a write up of what I found and did to solve my leaks. Fortunately our leaks were more aft and only affected the eng rm.

What year Pilot II do you have? Are you sure it's fresh water?

In addition to the source Bacchus mentioned, look closely at the windshield-to-cabin seam. Also look at the portlight rubber seals. I had a leak coming through the Bomar hatch in the cabin top which was quickly taken care of with a very thin line of 3M 5200 made possible using tape on either side of the joint between hatch and deck. You almost have to be there while it is raining to find these sorts of things.

If the boat is on the hard, make sure it it blocked at the proper angle to ensure the rain water runs off the same way it does when the boat is in the water. I have had to work with yard crews to make sure this happens.
