Detroit Diesel 8.2 Oil Pan Gasket

I have a friend with a DD 8.2 who is in need of a new silicon oil pan gasket. Part number is 8922786.

He has searched high and low for one and has called places he found on the internet but they don’t have them in stock. Seems to be back ordered since November.

Anyone have a great source that might be able to help him out?

I've had pretty good luck cutting my own gaskets. Way cheaper and no lead time. Easier to get them premade, but if you can't just get the blank material cut your own. Use the pan as a template.

Yes, and also pickup one of those gasket hole punch kits...really nice results.
