Wasn’t totally happy with the nonskid. Some of the edges were a bit “how-ya-goin” in places so I got some different tape and spent the afternoon taping and painting. I came a couple of mm off the edge of the nonskid to give the paint a bit of a lip. Now I’m happy With the finish. Will do the rest tomorrow then I start masking up for the nonskid that is yet to be applied down the Portside.

At $125 to $150 per hr.; functioning as the "director" for coordinating artisans of all types doing boat improvements... Would be a good/fun gig!

As director, over-seaing several boats' improvements/rebuilds at the same time, Matt could make a bundle of $$$$!

Soon the boats he officiates over would become those of the rich and famous. Then... his hourly rate could double or triple. Most wealthy persons don't so much care of the cost... moving things along quickly, efficiently and successfully is their prime objective.

In the long run - Matt's fantastic capabilities for solving problems and efficiently working items together in packaged bundles would save money for each of his clients.

Ohhhhh, I am sure his "bride" can find him many things to do around the house. That maybe why he is working so hard on the boat, the "great escape route". LOL

Lol I’ve just got one boat in me Boys. Ive given flic my word that the next project is the house. Art - you are right on one thing tho, I can’t sit still. Instead of going to the boat for 3hrs a day after work, I’ll be going straight home to spend that time renovating the house. My dream job would be to work for myself renovating houses. Do one, sell it, buy another then do the same. I’ve tried having people work for me when I was on the tools and it didn’t work out. The issues were I was either not happy with the work quality and had to redo it and/or fix it myself or to get something to the standard I expected they were taking three times as long as I would to do it. I was losing money in wages so let them go and did my own thing for while.

Taping up this afternoon. Off tomorrow but back on Friday to finish off taping up the Portside walkway down to the stern then paint and apply aggregate to those areas then paint the final coat of 2pak on the foredeck areas then with a bit of luck all of the nonskid will be completely finished on Monday afternoon once I retape and apply the sealing coats down the Portside walkway.
