Outboard Maintenance Q

Hey all. I’ve got an outboard powered boat. I’m thinking ahead about maintenance for long trips. (Think great loop).
I know it’s been done on Rossboro’s and Sea Dorys (other outboard boats). I know not true trawlers in the type sense seen here but this sites got a wealth of information. When on long trips requiring changing of oils, how do you do the gearcase when no trailer is available due to being from out of state? Engine oil is easy, and even easier for me because mines a 2 stroke. Thanks in advance

To change the lower unit I would find a marina along the route that would accommodate you for a short haul to change lower unit oil,inspect transducers, hull,etc…boat pit stop.
