Marina/yard recommendation near Alexandria, VA

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a marina/yard for this season near Alexandria, VA to have the boat taken out of the water to do some engine repairs and general boat maintenance.
It must allow DIY or outside contractors to work on the boat.

Is anyone familiar with the area?

There is a good yard/marina near Point Lookout on the Potomac Rivere which of course is about ninety miles from Alexandria, VA.

I don't know about DIY or outside contractors, but their in-house mechanic seemed good to me.

I will give them a call. i just not sure if I can make 90 miles because the boat has to be towed.

There may be closer boatyards, but you will have to do a search on your own. I have no other experience.
