Wondering if anyone has experience with a viking 43 motor yacht 1979. Twin DD
6-71N's. I want to cross the Gulf Stream and cruise the bahamas.

Welcome aboard. Can't really comment on that particular vessel but a gulf stream crossing is quite doable in almost any boat in the appropriate weather conditions. I would NOT recommend being out in the stream in the next few days.
