Not exactly new here.......

I have been around since 2011 and have enjoyed this forum since then.
We sold our 37' boat in 2015 and thought we were all done with that. Then we went to Alaska in 2017 for a 3 month RV trip.
We had arranged a bareboat charter out of Auke Bay because I could not see going to Alaska and not seeing Glacier Bay. We had a great trip on the boat and with all of Alaska and thought that was behind us.
But Alaska does not let you forget. And we decided that we had to go by water the next time we go to Alaska.
So here we are about to close on a one owner 1995 Navigator 5300 Sundance so we can make that trip to Alaska in most likely 2021.
The boat will stay in Anacortes where we found it. It is in the Anacortes Yacht Charters fleet.
We live in California and felt this was the best way to have the boat looked after and offset some of the costs of ownership. We will spend 4-6 weeks a year in Anacortes prepping the boat and learning what we need to know.
Looking forward to learning more from this group and hopefully I can contribute as well.
