Greetings folks. I've spent literally a lifetime messing around in wood boats powered either by sail or good old gas engines. Sold our 1963 Chris Craft Constellation and are in the market for a 36ft to 42ft trawler and while I'd still happily buy a wood boat most of the trawlers seem to be glass, so I guess I have to lower my standards
. Most interested in Grand Banks and again wood is fine & so is glass. So far we've looked at two 42GB's that both were over priced for their condition and two Albin 36's. Albin's were both nice but I'm not sure on the quality. We have another road trip next week to Onekama MI to look at a Fu Wha and a Marine Traider Sedan. Then we'll stop in Bay City MI to look at one more trawler before returning home... the hunt is certainly fun we just have to be careful what we catch.
