Removing Transducer

Anyone have tips for removing this transducer? Never done it before.
I plan on installing a new thru-hull (B150M), and chartplotter

It looks like it may be loose already??? I would break out a sawsall or a grinder and just go at it. Cut off the bottom and it should pull up into the hull. I have used a grinder on things like that and it goes very quickly. Put a cutoff disc in the grinder.

I had two similar ones and just cut them off, faired out the holes and fiberglassed inside and outside.

What did you fiberglass?

If you are going to replace it with a new transducer then you don’t need to glass the hole up.

What did you fiberglass?

The holes after removing the transducers and blocks. I now have a transom mount transducer(garmin) and shoot through the hull(hawkeye)
