Side-Power bow thruster propellers Part # 2000 Mainship 390

Looking for a good part number for Side-Power bow thruster propellers on a 2000 Mainship 390. The only identification I can find on the cover is Side-Power Bowthruster Gb made in made in Norway by Sleipner motor A/S. See attached pictures

Thanks
David

Mine has the model number on the plastic cover. You will need to find the model number and then it is pretty easy to find the correct propeller.

Can’t find a model number anywhere. I was hoping someone else has run into this problem.

Have you looked at the other side? Maybe with the camera in your phone on a selfie stick. You might find another 400 owner that knows which model thruster they put in them. Good luck.

I have a Sidepower bow thruster and it looks like Comodave’s. Model is visible. Yours looks like an older model. Wild guess, in the unlikely event you don’t get any other advice on here... take the plastic cover off and see if there’s any data on the back side of it. They have a bazillion different models.

I have just replaced my side Power Prop and you need to know what lower unit is installed on your boat. I have an old lower unit from the old 4hp side power that is married with a newer motor SE60 motor.
My MS390 is 1999 with a single Propeller P/N SM71250, , 3-Blade, Composite for old 4hp&7hp w/14mm shaft & set screw.
Call IMTRA Marine Products (side power) technical service 508)995-7000, they were very helpful in determining the part number for me.

Props are the same. Mounted on opposite ends of same shaft they effectively rotate opposite directions when viewing each respectively. So one pushes one pulls.
You may be able to measure the diameter and contact SP for info. Are there any motor specs? Amp draw? That may be The other way to narrow it down?
By pulling the prop you can get measurements and photo of mounting which may also help ID proper replacement.

I pulled mine (sidepower 4 blade) while in the yard 2 weeks ago and they are marked LH and RH on a blade of each side because they counter rotate. Which side of the boat they go on is relative to the orientation of the motor.

Mine were on opposite side on the stern due to opposite placement of stern Thruster

Call IMTRA. Consider changing to the newer swept blade that they offer, as it is more efficient and quieter than the truncated blade. You do have to change anodes as well though.
