EVENING RECEPTION WITH LEGISLATORS
TUESDAY, JAN. 21, 2020
Capitol Campus, Olympia WA
Dear RBAW Members:
The Recreational Boating Association of Washington (RBAW) will again be teaming up with the Northwest Marine Trade Association (NMTA) and the Olympia Yacht Club (OYC) to host our annual “Legislative Day in Olympia”.
This is YOUR chance to meet with the state legislators who adopt budgets and set policy impacting our entire state – and certainly our recreational boating community.
We will meet directly with state lawmakers to discuss and emphasize the issues of importance to our Members - such as our Lakebay Marina capital budget request, the Derelict Vessel Removal Program, and copper bottom paint bill (on which NMTA is taking the lead) . . .and more. We will end the day with an evening reception for legislators at the Olympia Yacht Club, 201 Simmons St. NW,

8:30am Morning Briefing - Pritchard Building Cafeteria
9am -12noon Meetings with State Legislators - Legislative Campus
Lunch Lunch on your own
1pm - 4:30pm Meetings with State Legislators - Legislative Campus
6pm
Hosted Reception at the Olympia Yacht Club (OYC)
The hosted reception at the Olympia Yacht Club (OYC) will allow our Members to talk with state legislators and legislative staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Hors d'oeuvres as well as beer, wine, and other beverages will be provided.
