We have a 48 hatteras that is in great shape inside and out. Nice shine on exterior. If we were to leave our boat in a slip in Florida during summer months (May-August) what can I expect for what I will need for maintenance each week or each month and approximate cost. Or am I better off putting boat on the hard during those months? Thanks!

What does your insirance allow?

Either wet or hard?

Summer goes to Oct for hot temps.

I know leople who leave it from Msy to Nov with just bottom cleaning by a diver.

It really depends on what you leave running or "summerize".

Also would you strip the expterior for hurricane season? Or just prior to a storm?

Other than dirt and bird crap, keep up with those 2 and the slime/green skin takes lo ger to form.

Welcome aboard. I agree on checking with your insurance. Insurance during hurricane season may not be affordable.
