I posted this on the Oasis thread but thought it would get more attention standalone here.

It’s a much watch in my mind.

I came across a great series by a long term love aboard who built and cruises a 70’ plus steel trawler built by Delta. He grew up sailing but commissioned this yacht and as of the vide date spent 20 of 28 years living aboard it full time. Cruises if I recall well over 150,000 nm and shipped it to Europe etc where it cruises more.

Here’s a link to the first episode on YouTube.

Episode 1: intro and detailed planning from San Diego to Vancouver

Episode 2a: weather routing

Episode 2b: Vessel preparedness

Episode 3 : Vancouver to Juneau

Episode 4: Juneau to william sound, Kenai, and Alaskan peninsula

Episode 6: transitioning from sail to power

Episode 7: price of freedom

Episode 8: buying or building an expedition yacht

Episode 9: voyage planning and running maintenance

10: winter maintenance
