36’ Grand Mariner
I’m new to the forum and just wanted to say hello. I own a 36’ Grand Mariner, had it for 4 years now. The biggest boat I’ve owned prior to this is a 22’ Zodiac Hurricane, this is my tender among other things. It still has the Teak decking that I recaulked 2 years ago, huge ugly job. The fuel tanks I did a year ago, another huge ugly job. Im going to be toning down the Teak. The hand rails will be going to stainless steel.
I have a question for some of you pro,s out there I want to replace the sheer line cap as well, I’m looking for suggestions, should I make up a Mold and create caps or should I do it in place. My fibreglass experience work is limited . My strengths are the fact that I’m a carpenter so I can build, I lack the hrs knowledge in regards to fibre glassing.
