Congratulations Kevin! Quite the accomplishment. What slip are you in? I am in #229. We should be down there in a couple of weeks. First cocktail on me.

Cheers, Bill

Good to hear you are in safe harbor.

We're anchored at Isla San Martin, off of San Quintin area, heading south.

How things have changed. Our first trip to Panama in'73 there was only one dock from San Diego to Panama. That was the Acapulco YC and cost $100/day sterned in Med style in '73. Our cruising costs then were running $150/mo, food, fuel, all living expenses. Anchoring in La Paz channel, there was a good 1-2kt current. We put 100 miles on the sum Log back then at anchor going nowhere! There was no inner harbor at Cabo. Was really primitive compared to today. Still, Baja is the hidden jewel of cruising. Enjoy going up the Sea of Cortez.
