Have not powered up new autopilot yet,but from input from others would it beneficial to add faraday cloth around delicate autopilot instruments,it’s cheap enough to make some real good isolator barriers

What is the problem your are trying to solve?

Make sure all connections are tight and make sure all ferrites are installed properly. Should not be any RF interference in a normal installation.

The only "interference" I'm familiar with is magnetic influence on a rate compass. If you block magnetic influence on the rate compass, it won't work at all. I don't think there is any alternative other than locating it away from metal objects, especially ones that move or shift, and away from significant electromagnetic influences like inverter DC power cables
