the watermaker on our 1995 fleming is toast. Thinking about either a Sea Recovery 1800 or FCI, anyone have thoughts, or suggestions. Thanks in advance

While I haven't purchased yet, I will be going with cruise RO

1. Customer service. Although more or less a one man band, Rich is legendary for responsiveness..l

2. Relatively simple without undue electronics and proprietary components. The lack of fancy electronics may mean limited fancy features compared to other brands, so may not be a fit for a bells-&-whistle type buyer.

3. Affordable. With auto-back flush and a remote panel, a 40 gph unit is around $5k as I recall. There are cheaper units out there, and you can get the 40 gph unit close to $4k without panel and back flush, but not a heck of lot cheaper.

Good luck whichever direction you go.
