Added another solar panel

Added another 160 watt panel wired parallel to the older 160,charging at 18 amps now,nothing to fancy or crazy but 18 amps is much better,was worth the extra work

Did you wire it in parallel or series with your existing panel. With marginal wire size you can get by by wiring the second in series which doubles the voltage but doesn't double the current. Since voltage drop to the controller is proportional to current it should stay the same.

The only downside is that if one panel is shaded the other will be affected as well. With parallel wiring that doesn't happen.
