It’s not likely the post was older than that, because David Carter joined TF in April 2013.
It is possible though, that the missing thread was posted under a different name.
I’m curious, why the working link I provided to the same ‘oldest thread” no longer works.
The Forum’s software only stores up to the posters last 500 posts. If the member is active, the stored posts may end 5 years ago or in this case 2013.
The ‘oldest thread’ that you posted the link to is now probably 501 posts so it got bumped off the list.
