Fuel Filter Followup

Attached picture is my primary fuel filter. Want to add a vacuum gauge to the system.... This filter has ONE inlet (#2 in the pic) and 2 outlets (#1 and #3) #3 goes to the engine, #1 has a plug in it. If I add the vacuum gauge to #1, which would be most convenient, would that work to show vacuum in the line. In other words is it an unrestricted passage from #1 to #3. If so, I would think that would be a good solution to mounting a vacuum gauge to my system. See attached picture

Mount the guage at #1. Yes, inside the filter head the fuel passage is the same so in another application either #3 or #1 could be used depending upon equipment restrictions.

If in doubt, you can always tee the line going to the engine.

I'm tired of fast moves, I've got a slow groove, on my mind.....
I want to spend some time, Not come and go in a heated rush.....
