After much research, I discovered how to make my dingy cabin curtains look fresh and new again. After removing just two curtains at a time, I filled a large bucket with several scoops of OxyClean and a little laundry soap. Then, I soaked the curtains in the bucket for at least 3 or 4 days. After the first day, the water was so dirty that I dumped it out and put fresh water, and OxyClean, and laundry soap back in the bucket. After about day 4, I hand rinsed the curtains then line dried them. They look like new. My thanks to a local dry cleaner who recommended this method.
