GulfStar 36' Trawler

[SIZE="5"]
Hi, I'm Holly and I bought my first boat, a Gulf Star 36' Mark II Trawler last June. Brought her down the ICW from Albany NY to Port RIchey Florida in November with a Captain and a mate. I am still learning how to captain her and have many questions! Thanks.

Welcome! Have you explored the Gulfstar Builders Forum in the Builders Forums Section? I`m sure the Gulfstar people here will help out when you ask those questions.

Those are nice boats. Very efficient although they really don't sail very well. Many are outfitted with twin engines and dragging two props while under sail doesn't work very well.

How about some pictures?

Did you buy the one that was at Coeymans Landing Marina?

Pictures? Until we see pictures, it is just a rumor. :-)

Welcome aboard and congrats on your new boat. As said above, we will need photos. I didnít think the trawler version was designed to actually sail, more for steady sail I thought.
