For those who haven't heard, Robert Peek passed away October 1st. An exceedingly wonderful person and the consummate lockmaster. If you traveled the Dismal Swamp canal, he was the man at the Deep Creek Lock that was a wealth of information on the nature and history of the canal. More information can be found here:
