I recently purchased a product from BoatiD.com that does not work. I tried to return it but they demanded that I submit a video showing how the product does not work. Is this common practice? Has anyone had a similar experience? The item is an oil extractor that I explained would not pump oil and would not pump oil from and open jar with the unit vents open and the inlet line patent.

I first started with West Marine as my go to marine supplier- returns are easy, no questions asked. Then I switched to Defender- never had a return. Then I switched to Amazon- returns are easy just drop off at any UPS drop off agent, no questions asked.
