Garmin Echomap Plus 93sv???

Our CHB 32 boat-to-be, should the survey work out, has the Echomap system. The PO was a fisherman in Puget Sound, so I understand his choice, but is this a decent nav system for Washington waters? Anyone using this?

It should have a slot for additional charts if they aren't already pre-loaded in the plotter. I had good experiences with an echo map 7". Used it in S Fl, bahamas for years aboard my ketch. I bought a micro SD card map upgrade for it.

This is a good unit. You can set this up with a wifi connection to your phone and use Active Captain to update your charts and upgrade charts if you want. This unit will also support hi-def sonar if you like.
